The original purposes of founding this Temple were to create a teaching and practicing center of Buddhism according to the Theravada tradition, as well as, a teaching center of Thai culture, tradition and Thai language. Welcome to Wat Phrasriratanaram, the Buddhist Temple & Meditation Center of Greater St. Louis. The original purposes of founding this Temple were to create a teaching and practicing center of Buddhism according to the Theravada tradition, as well as, a teaching center of Thai culture, tradition and Thai language. Later on the purposes have been expanded to include the teaching and practicing of Insight Meditation.

Meditation Sessions
The session consists of Dharma talks, Insight Meditation, and Q & A.
One would learn first-hand the correct way to meditate, so that one would gain insights into seeing the true nature of things, without being blinded by one's own bias, and free oneself from dis-ease and suffering.
